Trustees - Mischa Constant
Mischa Constant became a Trustee in 2009. He is a Youth Worker, international speaker and travel/expedition leader. He began youth work in South Africa in 1995. In 2000 he moved to the UK spending 3 years working with adventure holiday organisation; Oak Hall Expeditions. He married his Scottish wife Ruth in Surrey, and has been working with a charity called FACCTS ( www.faccts.org.uk) focussed on youth since 2008. Mischa and Ruth share a passion to see young people serving, growing, leading and then helping people in developing countries. Completing Mischa's degree in Youth work and Community Development and welcoming their second child to the world are two more big milestones chalked up for 2011.
Trustees - Richard Davis
Richard
Davis became a Trustee in 2009. Holding a degree
in Engineering, Richard has worked in the IT industry for 11 years. A Senior
Systems Engineer for an International Email Security company, Richard previously
spent time in Zambia, Africa working with a charity to build a school at an orphanage
for kids with HIV. It was during this time that Richards desire to work with
the “developing world” grew and in particular the empowerment of the younger
generation. Richard brings a wealth of IT knowledge to the trust, overseeing
all aspects of its electronic communications. Richard is married and a father
of two.
Trustees - Julian Strauss
Julian Strauss became a Trustee in 2009. Julian is an independant financial advisor. Julian's character reflects his capacity to be both serious and full of youthful energy at the same time. Julian has been a financial consultant for over ten years and brings a strong, balanced governance to the team. Julian serves as the Charity's treasurer, and has a passion for music, technology and doing things right. Julian is South African by birth, and has lived in the UK for seven years. He and his wife Michelle and their young boys live on the Surrey / Hampshire borders
