Founder - Steve Savides
Steve Savides has spent 20 years in the technology industry. Deeply interested in personal development, health, wellbeing and sustainable change, Steve spends any spare time he has working with the Foundation. His values are built around connected communities and his core belief is that heart-centred mind-body techniques can enrich our busy modern lifestyles.
Trustee - Alex Joseph
Alex Joseph is an Account Executive, who has worked Unified Communications industry for nearly a decade. Prior to this Alex worked as a representative of German travel giant TUI. Outside of work he is a keen Rugby Player for Cobham RFC. Having built a successful career from the ground up, Alex is eager to help young people understand how they can achieve their goals, through work ethics, education, health and wellbeing.
Trustee - Jude Murray
Jude is a yoga teacher, complementary therapist, celebrant, spiritual coach, facilitator and writer, with 25 years of experience as a teacher, trainer and group-work facilitator in the public, private and voluntary sectors. She specialises in Yoga for Cancer, integrative care and palliative care, and has been course director on Healing Space – Yoga for People Living with Cancer – since 2011. Jude is also is a senior teacher of Embodied Yoga Principles and will soon complete Embodied Facilitator training. She is a Scot based in Brighton, where she is studying for a Masters degree in creative writing. She teaches there, across the UK, and internationally.
Trustee - Matthew Shearing
Matt Shearing has spent 15 years running All Good Gifts, an independent, local, community-engaged, design-led gift shop in Battersea. He sits on the Board of the Clapham Junction Town Centre Partnership and is also Vice-Chair of the Northcote Business Network which runs community events in South London. Additionally, he works as a designer - designing products and greeting cards for the publisher, Card Crazy, as well as producing logos, products and website assets for his clients. He is actively engaged with running community events for Buddhafield, a Buddhist charity and his 5Rhythms dance community. Matt’s hobbies include dancing, ultimate frisbee, painting, photography, screen-printing and he has an interest in personal development, coaching & embodiment.
Having spent 9 years living and practicing in a Buddhist monastery in France, Andy is a secular mindfulness meditation expert, teacher, coach and facilitator. He specialises in participatory democracy and building community by helping diverse people understand each other.
